Trusted partners working for the betterment of cat health
Cat Fancy Association
The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA) — has been intimately involved with Winn Feline Foundation’s early history. From the initial $125 donation in 1968 through our first grant to the University of California, Davis in 1971, CFA set the tone for being a “purr-fect partner.”
Backed by CFA’s support, Winn provided almost $1.5 million into research grants for feline health studies by 1996. While both organizations have followed separate pathways in recent years, research grant funding surpassed $6 million by the end of 2017. Winn’s Donor Tree, with its legacy of cumulative donors, found a home on the CFA main boardroom headquarters in Alliance, OH.
Winn Feline Foundation continues to have a close, family-like relationship with its founding organization. As CFA holds its annual meeting in one of seven regions, Winn also conducts its annual continuing education symposium and board meeting.
